Here’s another charming photo from the Stone Harbor Museum archives. This proud little girl dressed up in her vintage style petticoat dress with bonnet is seen pushing her dolly in a baby buggy as she prepares to participate in the Baby Parade on the boardwalk at Stone Harbor on July 4, 1928. This is reminiscent of what we often consider pure Americana. Some might say that it doesn’t get much better than this! If this lovely scene doesn’t tug at your heart strings, I would be very surprised!
