Here are 2 similar vintage post card scenes depicting the cottage (see the closest house in this grouping) of Mr. Charles A. Farnum, of 4427 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, located at First Avenue and 91st Street in Stone Harbor.  We know that many of the homes along First Avenue often had multiple lots and these lots were given absolutely free to Mr. Farnum by the South Jersey Realty Company under the highly successful Stone Harbor Bond Plan.  I think you will agree that the homes shown here along First Avenue were indeed impressive structures.
