Here is a remarkable photographic image depicting the John W. Jungkurth, Jr. Hardware Store all decked out for a special occasion.  Festooned with an abundant array of American Flags, the front of this building is prominently and decoratively displayed with visible patriotic spirit.  The occasion or the purpose might have been observing the Fourth of July or perhaps the official opening of this particular business establishment.  This building in all likelihood contained apartments or living areas for rent on the second floor above the store.
