Circa 1910 – What a striking view of 96th Street under construction!  Looking west, we see the making of the Stone Harbor Boulevard linking Stone Harbor with the mainland.  A drawbridge in the making over the Great Channel is destined for an official opening on July 3, 1911 with important dredging equipment in the background.
